We respond to all inquiries within two business days. Our initial reply confirms receipt of your message and may request additional information to better understand your needs.
Preliminary Discussion
Many projects benefit from a brief telephone or video conversation before formal engagement. This allows us to clarify your objectives, explain our approach, and determine whether our services align with your requirements.
Proposal Development
Following preliminary discussion, we prepare a tailored proposal outlining scope of work, methodology, deliverables, timeline, and fees. This ensures mutual clarity before engagement.
Project Initiation
Once you accept our proposal, we schedule site visits and research activities. Most assessments and consultations complete within four to six weeks, depending on complexity and archival research requirements.
Geographic Coverage
While based in London, we regularly undertake projects throughout the United Kingdom and in selected European locations where architectural styles align with our expertise. Travel costs for site visits outside Greater London are calculated separately and included in project proposals.
For projects involving significant international travel, we may recommend local conservation professionals who can conduct site inspections while we provide remote analytical and advisory support based on photographic documentation and detailed descriptions.
